Wishcasting Wednesday - Family

Jamie over at Jamie Ridler Studios asks us for Wishcasting Wednesday:

What do you wish for your family?

I wish for security. Less worries that take over our lives. More solid footing as we travel forward on our journies. For myself it looks like healing and direction. For my husband and I that looks like job security and financial stability. For my stepdaughter I am not entirely sure what it looks like, but from where I stand it looks like self-assurance. For others in my extended family that looks like healing or long-term financial stability or any number of things that would bring them a bit of peace knowing that they are in a place of safety.

With you on all of that!

As Sulwyn wishes for her family, so do I also wish for them, with all my heart!

Security is a biggie! I love your take on its various manifestations for your family.

I am also reminded of a quote from Helen Keller: "Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."

Exposure ... that is hard for me as a mother to swallow.

As Sulwyn wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Yes...may security come to you all!! We are struggling though too..some months are ok..some not so much. But the bills are being paid..sometimes late..but still paid..for this I am thankful! May we both get financially above the line again!! Namaste, Sarah

Can I ever relate Sulwyn! May we both get that sense of security soon.

Oh I know what you mean by wishing for security. I think we could all sleep a little more sound if we had security.

As you wish for yourself I wish for you.

Having been unemployed for nearly a year I certainly wish for that security thing too (and some more self-assurance couldn't hurt either!). All the best.
